it all started on Monday.
My arms couldn't lift 20 kilos.
Was doing 10. 12… but 20 was IMPOSSIBLE!
and today: I just did it (video proof at bottom)
no AI coach, no trainer watching., just me, alone in the gym.
lifting an almost DOUBLE weight, that seemed impossible six days earlier.
and here's the weird part: it wasn't my arms that changed (they are still skinny).
Here’s what’s valuable for me and you, from my notes:
3 lessons from this week:
1. the gym fixed something I didn't expect.
I'll be honest with you. before this week, start of 2026, I think I was in a partial depression.
lost interest in things. felt empty. lost direction.
these weekly challenges are giving me purpose again. not just to grow myself, but to help others get inspired too. that matters more than I realized.
if you've been feeling stuck or low, I'm not saying the gym is a magic pill. but moving your body, having a mission, proving something to yourself... it shifts something inside.
it did for me. I have energy again in the morning. Do you also want that?
2. rest is not optional. it's an actual priority for me and you.
I didn't sleep properly for 3 days. thought I could push through.
stupid.
the pain just accumulated. my body wasn't recovering. I was getting weaker, not stronger.
then I got serious. bought melatonin. prioritized 8 hours. and everything changed. the soreness faded. the strength came back.
sleep is not laziness. sleep is when your muscles grow. I learned this the hard way.
My mood also drastically improved.
Please please don’t ignore sleep, you won’t notice it when it’s bad, but when it’s good your life is just… MUCH more calm and joyful.
3. just SEE it.
I had so much more strength in me. I just never accessed it because I was always too tired, too sore, too burned out. My mind did not give the 100%.
your body has more capacity than you think. but you have to let it rest to unlock it.
And SEE yourself capable. I learned that top level athletes visualize all the time.
Did it the first time this week. It JUST WORKED!
the real win:
did I double my strength? honestly, probably closer to 50%.
BUT
the point is: in one week, I went from "I can't" to "I just did."
what man doesn't want to be 50% stronger?
what's stopping you from starting?
go to the gym, try walking, go running. start again. take care of your body. even if it's just 3 push-ups.
you have more in you than you're using.
this next week: learn to play an instrument in 7 days.
I have almost zero musical ability. let's see what happens :)
see you next week,
Alex
p.s. Monday it was impossible. Sunday I did it.
that's the whole point of this project. I hope you are getting energy to try more things this year!
