it’s 5:37 p.m. in Miami now, and I feel like a laptop with 3% battery.
One of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Aaaaaaand I’m… too tired…
I was supposed to announce week 18 earlier.
I didn’t because I’ve been trying to pick the “right” skill.
speed reading sounded useful.
memory sounded impressive.
dancing salsa sounded better for content.
but after almost a month of traveling across the United States, Texas, California, Miami, and now New York on Friday, my body made the decision for me.
week 18 is recovery.
recovery as an actual skill because ambitious people are usually terrible at this.
we learn how to work harder.
we learn how to produce more.
we learn how to keep going when we’re tired.
but we don’t learn how to come back to life.
so this week, the challenge is simple:
can I rebuild my energy while still traveling, working, and creating?
I’ll be testing a basic recovery protocol:
8 hours in bed when possible.
20-minute walks with no phone.
10 minutes of stretching.
caffeine cutoff at 2 p.m.
simple food.
daily energy tracking.
AI as a recovery coach instead of another productivity tool.
I will be sharing more useful tips this week, stay tuned!
this is less cool than magic, cold calling, photography, or origami.
but it might be more useful.
because I’m thinking what’s the point of learning 53 skills if we become too exhausted to use any of them?
hit reply and tell me:
what’s one thing that actually restores your energy?
not what sounds healthy, what actually works.
