Ciao, it’s Alex from 53skills.com!

and this week we learned a skill that people enjoyed for thousands of years!

DANCING! (I picked bachata)

and here are 3 things you should know to make your life more beautiful and fun:

Some skills start embarrassing. And that’s good.

I’ll be honest, I started this because I saw people having fun at the latino dance parties but I couldn't join.

I was just the guy looking at people dancing… and drinking 3 beers at the bar because I was lacking the skill.

You don’t want to be that person. It made me sad.

so with the opportunity of 53skills.com, I actually invested a whole serious week into practicing every day and the progress has been… incredible.

You can do it too, if you just practice dancing for 7 days.

video update and proof I did the skill:

It will unlock a whole new area of your life.

now that I can actually dance decently, I don't feel embarrassed anymore at the parties.

AND it actually allowed me to meet new people who are into dancing, which are very different than my usual IT tech crowd.

I'm even finding that the type of people that I meet are bringing new ideas and fresh air into my life.

have you ever stopped and thought: what kind of vibes or feelings do the people around you bring you?

Let's say you're working an office job. What kind of energy are the people around you bringing to you?

That's the beauty of trying these skills.

By doing them and going from passive observer to active doer in 1 week, you have opportunities to meet the people who are in that area of skill.

They can be adventurers, chefs, artists, dancers, and much more. You basically connect with a whole new spectrum of people, and that's incredible.

It's an increasingly rare physical skill, good for your body.

Although you hear about dancing all the time, I don't see so many people actually decent in it.

It feels more like a common topic that everybody knows it exists. But do they do it?

In the last 10 years it's becoming a bit of an extrovert skill: to move your body freely, skillfully, but our ancestors used to do it for millennia, naturally.

that brought them pure joy. It's in our blood, it's in our bodies to dance.

We are just slowly forgetting it and that's why we need to get back to these roots

Because it's an authentic source of joy.

Try it for 7 days.

There are many YouTube tutorials to even practice in the mirror by yourslef before you go to dancing.

Or actually go to classes as an excuse to meet people 🙂

bonus: helps A LOT with meeting ladies.
